Final Project- Alexandra Lamancusa

How can we know whether what we are seeing is real or a dream- or if there is a difference between the two?  The famous Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi once told a parable of when, after waking from a dream of being a butterfly, he wondered if he were a butterfly dreaming of being a man.  With this artwork, I show that reality is relative and that you can never be sure which viewpoint represents reality.

Combatting The First Rogue Cancer Cells by Nick Tacca

More than 1,500 people worldwide die a day from cancer.   My project investigates the idea that in the future we will be able to solve this problem by detecting cancer early.  Once we have the sign of the first unregulated cell differentiation, then we can prompt our bodies to intervene and prevent the cancer from metastasizing through biological drug delivery.

Final Project – Animals in the Moral Community
